Caitlin and Francis’s winter wedding was a heartwarming celebration that embodied the joy and spirit of the season. Their wedding took place against a beautiful wintery backdrop with festive decor outside St. Dominic Catholic Church in Washington, DC. 

Pre Ceremony Moments

Caitlin began her day at home, surrounded by close friends. A dear friend lovingly styled her hair. Her bridesmaids were there to share laughs and excitement in the final hours before the ceremony. Caitlin’s first look with her father was a deeply emotional moment. His teary-eyed expression spoke of all the memories they’d shared and the realization of how his little girl had grown into a stunning bride. Meanwhile, Francis and his groomsmen enjoyed a lively limo ride from their hotel to the church, filled with laughter and anticipation. 

After the winter wedding ceremony, guests gathered at the couple’s hotel for an intimate indoor cocktail hour. It was the perfect chance for everyone to warm up, mingle, and savor delicious hors d’oeuvres while sharing in the joy of the day.

The reception that followed was filled with elegance and warmth. Guests mingled with each other while they were treated to a delicious meal. Afterward there was such a lively dance floor. All the kids and their parents got up to join in the fun. There were such sweet couples who had been together for decades having a blast in each others’ arms. The joy was palpable as generations came together, dancing and celebrating this beautiful new chapter for Caitlin and Francis.

The evening came to a close with a sparkler exit. This was an enchanting finale to a day filled with love, family, and holiday cheer. Surrounded by the glow of sparklers held by their loved ones, Caitlin and Francis slipped into their getaway care. It was the perfect ending to a winter wedding filled with the warmth and joy of the season.
